Falcon cues?

Wondering if anyone plays with or has played with a falcon cue. I'm in the process of looking for a new cue, deciding on what I want. Thinking Joss, Pechauer or a low end Mezz, but someone mentioned that they were a fan of falcons. Any input on that, construction, stiff or soft hit, feel, would you buy another if the opportunity came up or would you go with one of the others i mentioned.

I think you need to check sources of falcon likes. It is likely fans are talking about older Falcons made in Canada.

I have a Falcon Toronto series which matches nicely with Revowher
Where are the newer falcons made and are they not as good construction or playing cues?

Made in Taiwan. Very well made. J&J sells them. They only offer a few models these days. The plainjane merry-widow for 250bux is a nice cue. KPS, parent co., also makes the Bear cues that Bustamante has used for years.

Have a older black falcon that I bought years ago. Tiger switched out the linen for a stack wrap
Would look nicewith a cf shaft. Was using as a breaker with an ob break shaft

I have an older Falcon cue, looks and feels pretty much exactly like a Joss. I'm actually going to sell it, have too many cues sitting around.

Most likely... until last year my only pool cue I had ever owned was a plain jane Falcon butt with a predator Z2. Played some serious shortstop pool with that cue back in the day. Still use the jump section of a Falcon Jump/Break. Mostly because it works and I'm too cheap to buy something modern...lol

Would a I buy another player...? Nah... Is that any fault of the cue...?..., nope.

Does it have a solid stiff hit? How does the balance feel?

With the stock shaft it's a solid hit, it's a pretty even balanced with both shafts I have for it. I got a Tiger X LD shaft for it and that has a really soft tip on it so that has a soft hit feel, but it's a solid hitting cue. No idea how it matches up to any newer Falcon models, but I owned a 90s Joss cue for over 10 years and the Falcon is very similar to the hit feel, balance and dimensions.

If you are talking of them with maple shafts, I agree. It goes back to Md Chen getting his company equipped with old Joss equipment.

Joss and older Falcon were nothing alike with a 12.4 Revo. Tested across four Joss butts and a TL-6 Falcon.

Sounds like a solid cue. How much you letting that go for? Any pictures?

When Falcon start make cues, Joss taught them how to do it. Now Falcon are made in Taiwan/China, good cues, but not a better option than Joss, Mezz, Peachauer.
