Family friendly pool near Destin Florida?

You want a poolhall or kiddieland?? Go to Starcade in Ft Walton Bch. Is a old-school poolhall. They smoke. You've been warned.;)
 
As a former cigar and pipe smoker for decades, I actually enjoy the old school environment. Mrs Piper and Tiny Piper... not so much 😃

I love that pool room, but the last time I was there I left mid-tournament. The smoke was worse than I remember.

Funny that is exactly what happened to me when I went there during a business trip to Pensacola. Played week before, was OK, but the tournament felt like a sauna but with cig smoke instead of steam. Felt sick before I even played my first match, let the two people I played win and took off.

During the week it was not too bad with smoke, but I would not really call it a family friendly place. I am thinking they are lacking in ventilation which is why it got so smoky inside, but there were also a lot of smokers there.

Not sure if there are any non-smoking rooms in that area, I went to a few and all had smoking inside, including places with kids.
 
Just got back from Destin. Found Rupert’s (a bowling alley with a separate pool room). Several Valley tables of varying quality. Bartender told me I could play free as long as I bought beer. It’s located just off hgwy 98. You might want to check it out.
