Thanks Dennis. Cue is $1800 so its priced to go. Andy Gilbert is firmly establishing himself as a fine cue maker.

It REALLY is nice. I can't believe I still own it!! Offering it for pittance and no firm takers. Man, I knew the cue selling climate was bad at the moment but it has never been this bad. Are you having a particularly hot summer over there?? Is no one playing pool?? Hey, you can still collect, y'know!!

Ya Si... surely like pulling teeth, trying to move anything this summer.
Then of course, my clients take half of June & all of July off.. you can imagine what that does for my August cash flow... and im not even in the cue business... otherwise Ida hopped on that sweet Gilbert.. by the way.. thanks for that last Gilbert.. man what nice work he does.. definately I'm gonna get into another one at some point, just can't do her right now pal.
What else do yas have workin?? FYI.. Still have the Gina.... didnt move er after all... Hope all well your side of the big Pond. Bretski ... p.s. any new stock??

Hey Brett

Hope you are well buddy. Glad you like the ebony Gilbert, that is a fine cue.

Always looking out for cues. I have my eye on your Gina too. May have some other stuff coming, just finalising the deals. I will keep you posted. Take some pics of the Craftsman, put it with your other one and show them up here. Something different for everyone to see.

Thx the heads up.. as always, shoot me photo's the new stuff.
My last purchase was the White.. believe I sent you photo's of that one
(bar bells).. sweet, sweet hitter. I kinda regret not pickin up that White of your's... but think it all worked out good for you... But Simon, if I post the craftsman, the secret will be out, & next thing ya know, soon, I will no longer have the handful of 'mystery cue, with the unique design, and one hell of a hit', here in the states... hmmmmm

Hey Shorty

Nice to hear from you. Its a fine cue for sure. If you get chance, email your other Brit pal, Matt Gleaves. He is having some health problems at the mo, he can't even get out to shoot some pool. Just send him a hello from the U.S., it will cheer him up.

Back on the Gilbert.....$1200 AND I WILL PAY SHIPPING!! No more, nada, nothing! :D

Wow, I'd jump at this if I didn't already have a loaded Gilbert cue nearing completion any day now...

If you'd been selling this cue a couple of months ago i would have been on it straight away! Shipping would have been cheaper to as i'm just down the M1! :D

Brett, I hear what you are saying pal. Always nice to keep an air of mystery around ones cue collection :D

James White is in my top 5, I love this mans work.....and he is a really, really nice guy. You know what I mean about some cuemakers, like we are doing them a favour by giving them a cue order, I am sure the readers of AZ know what I mean. Well Jim White is nothing like that......he is the nicest, most pleasant cue maker on earth. A busy man but always has time for his customers.

Infact, my top 5 'nicest' cue makers I have encountered over the years (in no particular order)......

James White
Joel Hercek
Wayne Holmes
Dennis Searing (don't care what anyone says)
Paul Mottey

Si...Seriously I will take some photos just the craftsman and post em within the week..... I have not had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. White, but take your word that he is a stellar individual. Mr. Hercek.. totally agree.. awesome.. never spoken to Mr. Holmes or Searing.. (remember, I am Searingless, man)... & Paul Mottey.. what a fantastic individual to deal with.. a real Gem of a guy.. and what a talent (per all of the above). Others...
Fred & Tad... interested in your business, quick to reply, and seemingly appreciative.. and super work...Lori @ SW.. always treated me very very good.. willing to discuss issues, nice personality, and no arrogance. Let's just leave er there.. oh wait... Tony @ Black Boar... super, super guy to talk to... and willing to take the conversation to the next level, ie, willing to give of his time.... I know that as you say, they are not all like that... and there are many makers that I have not the pleasure of communicating, but would like to think that all possess a level of appreciation to all customers... hee hee. See yas.. brett (no your not gonna get me to mention any 'not so appreciatives').
