  • 8 cocobolo arrow tipped point
  • points are dead even at the tip and each tip contains a turquoise inlay
  • Each point (even the short points) contains 4 veneers of maple, red, blue and grey
  • Base of each long point contains a white diamond (micarta?) inlayed with a turquoise diamond in the middle
  • cocobolo and maple stitch rings at ABCDE
  • Forearm is maple of birdseye maple, buttsleeve is cocobolo
  • Buttsleeve contains 4 windows with 4 veneers of black/white/black/white (in-out) and is inlaid with a large turquoise rectangle
  • Custom 1 of 1 Jacoby and is signed by David Jacoby in the forearm
  • Butt weighs 14.850oz.
  • 2 shafts: 1 with kamui tip - 3.90oz., 13mm / 2 with superpro tip - 4.080oz. 13mm
  • Stainless Steel 5/16x14 joint

Hi Dank, nice picture of the window and nice cue. This appears to be blue box elder burl. Jacoby uses box elder burl in various colors on some of their cues. I'm not sure of the coloring process but, it is not just a typical stain to my knowledge. I will say that the diamonds in the points do appear to be turquois, although I would have to see up close. Regardless, it does not take away from the value or beauty of the cue. In fact I find the colored box elder burl to be more interesting to look at than the turquois. Good luck with your sale.
 
im not sure, it was sold and listed as turquoise so thats what i am going to call it lol. if it is stained red box elder that might make it even more valuable.
 
Nice package that you've put together Cedric. This deserves a bump and Cedric is a nice guy to deal with as well.
