Fantastic Ariel Carmelli Priced to Move!!
They don't come much nicer than this one. Just released from a private collection is this Ariel Carmelli c.2009, 19.5oz, 58" with two shafts and two Moori tips. There are eight forearm and eight butt points with a combination of ebony and burl, and then each ebony point has ivory and mother of pearl inlays. Ringwork is perfect, sliver with eight ivory inlays at each ring, and then the butt and joint caps are also both ivory.
Pin is a G10 and the wrap is of a material I'm not familiar with. It's definitely leather of some type but I'm not sure which animal so the buyer can save that a a surprise I guess.
Signed by the artist as well, which I've tried to capture in one of the pics.
Priced to sell at $2275 (USD). Worldwide shipping included.
Pics:
Please note that there are two slight flaws in this cue, which I've tried to capture in the pics below. The first is a (very) small ding in the finish:
And the second is this small hairline in the ivory butt cap. I can't really tell if it's a fissure or if it's just part of the grain, but it's there.
I have test hit this cue extensively though and it doesn't make any pings or anything, so it's probably nothing. Overall the cue is an easy 9/10 and the hit is just amazing. The maker really knows his stuff! Easily one of the nicest cues I've ever tried, and I've tried thousands.
