FargoRate?

I've been to their web site plenty of times and registered. They dont list the four tournaments that went into my FargoRate or the 1P tournaments that used them.

1P, last I knew, is not part of the FR system. It may be used as a guide, or player placement tool, but they don't/can't submit those games.

1P is not part of Fargo, however digital pool was mentioned and that’s what I was talking about. They have my FargoRate but don’t list the 9 ball, 10 ball, and 1P tournaments I’ve played in. One of the 1P tournaments actually used digitalpool for the tournament brackets and times.

Who was running the tournaments and are you sure they are reporting? As mentioned in my last post, it's very possible they were only using your FR to determine a ranking of some sort, that does not mean they are reporting to FR.

I think the TD needs to set the tournament to “public” in DigitalPool to make it searchable.

While not keeping the results, they did track at least one one pocket event with the Fargo ratings to see how the matches in that game lined up with predictions, and they were very very close.

Roger. I know one of the primary concerns about mixing 8/9/10 with 1P is that some people may excel at one and simply not play the other. However, I feel that if a high rated FR 8/9/10 player were to pick up 1P it wouldn't take long to learn the game and, therefore, the FR ratings would be fairly accurate but, if you take a lower FR rated player (sub-500? just throwing a number out there) and throw them into a 1P match they'd get demolished. My son and I are prime examples of that, I'm a 600'sh player and have been playing for more than 3 decades, I don't study 1P but when I play I do fairly well. My son is new and is, I'm guessing, a 400-450'sh player and he wouldn't stand a chance against me if I were to bear down against him in 1P.

Ultimately, they should create separate tracking for 1P and other games that have different skillsets.

I just subscribed to FargoRate and now I know why my rating dropped so drastically. My tournament results from Lil Rascals 10 ball tournament are incorrect and incomplete. I won the small tournament and they have me losing two out of three matches instead of winning 4 out of five matches.

Perhaps you've played there more than once? This is the one we have.

I’ve only been there once. The losers bracket has the wrong names. If you put my name in place of Kenneth Day then it would be correct. I beat Ken and Robert 3-1. I then beat Rafael twice. 3-1 and 3-0. I won $60 and Rafael took home $40. I guess Robert won $20 or the room took $20 for pool table time.

If you look at my original post I said my FargoRate went down after winning that tournament. Now I know why

Kenneth Day ran the tournament. I don’t know what happened with the errors, but I just sent Kenny a text asking him what happened.
Kenny Day just sent me a text that he’s sending a message to FargoRate to straighten up the results.
