hello larry...i was wondering what you usually charge for a show...where i live we have never had an exhibition of trick shots and stuff like that and i think it would be a hit here

LARRY: I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO CALL ME , WANT TO TALK TO YOU 1-706-886-6047 ARTEF12NOON. AFTER 5PM AT 1-706-754-5261 STICK

Just a personal story.

Larry came by my house after Valley Forge and a short stay in New York. I live in the DC area and he was on the way home to Atlanta. We invited him to stay at our house for the night.

We heard lots of great stories among lots of pool but one thing was very funny.

Now Larry was trying to show me how to power stroke the ball.I was so tired and he would not let me stop until I had hit the cb 6 rails and knocked in a ball off another ball which were sitting about a diamond from the the right corner pocket on the long rail.

I was so mad at him for not letting me quit because I was so tired, I was practically falling down!

I guess after an hour or so, I finally got that silly ball in. A couple of weeks later, I was watching a trick shot semi final out of Baltimore on TV. These trick shot artists were doing the same shot. Larry had gotten me to do a trick shot!!! This seemed pretty hilarious to me.

In addition to this, I have since had a very good break, as a by-product of that excercize.

Moral of story- don't hire him as a teacher unless you want to be driven to excellence.;)

Paco, the width of the lst par 3 on amen corner, you described the 11th, it's a par 4, the par 3 is 12, I knew this, is was a trap question to see if anyone would know the 11th was not a par 3.
The on #12 green is only 11 steps wide, when the majority of greens are 30- to 40 steps wide.
The green behind 12 is Augusta Country Club, not August National, it's two greens almost side by side, seperated by a fence.

Yes,but you just brought it up in this thread!Let it die FL.

Agree. Drop means not hold on to even a sliver. Like drop a ball off a cliff and bye bye forever.:p
