OBE1, I'm not sure if you know or not but the 11x8 signed photo is a
print. It was not hand signed.

Side Story!

Just a little story Steve Mizerak told me when I met him at his room near Palm Beach. Some how Fats name came up and Steve mentioned Fats never signed his own autograph but used a rubber stamp. When I asked why he did this Steve replied " I don't think he new how to write his own name". Actual signatures are indeed quite rare. A friend of mine actually got the rubber stamp treatment when asking for his autograph. True story!

Thats what happened to me . I got to play him on my birthday. My Father was a drinking buddy of his so i got to have a little play time after he did his thing for a very small crowd at Minnehaha lanes in ST Paul OCT.1963 . I asked for his autograph and my old man laughed and said he has a trunk full just wait. Sure enough out come the rubber stamp and badda bing "
Heres your autograph kid.
"he says to me and gave me hand full of his you have been hustled cards. What do i do with them? Put on my bikes spokes with clothes pins ok course. What a idiot i was.
