Favorite cloth color

Tournament Blue is what I put on my tables, it leaves the room more well lit without using as much light as the Tournament Green.

I had green and just changed the cloth to blue. Made the whole basement look better.

I’m due for a cloth change and I’m thinking about apple green, which seems to be pretty close to the color of snooker cloth, instead of Simonis green. Anyone seen this color in person?

I know the different wavelengths of light do not refract/focus at exactly the same point, green being in the middle means that focusing the green will keep the outer edges relatively closer to focused. I wonder if this makes the balls jump out on the blue. I couldn't find the color temperature listed for my lights, and that is certainly a major factor.

Red cloth? yeah, I don't want my pool room to look like a whorehouse. I'm running a classy joint here!
Of all the colors of the visible spectrum, humans’ eyes have the least amount of blue receptors.

Unfortunately all green does is remind me of all the dingy pool rooms I cut my teeth in. Whether it be snooker or pool.

Tourney blue (or close facsimile) brightens a room, and dare I say gives a sense of professionalism to the game. All subjective opinion of course. I doubt I'll ever bother trying the MR grey. Does the opposite of what I prefer.

The sharp contrast between dark rails and tourney blue looks top notch imo.

All that said, if I were to put a snooker table in my home it would be using green cloth

I really liked playing on tan cloth. The light colors are my favorite. Green is too dark for my liking now, tho just for nostalgia, the first pool room I played in as a kid had wonderful blue/green cloth. So I guess if I was gonna get super lights, I'd get the turquoise cloth. Regular lighting, tan....basically like gray but with a little warmth to it.

All time worst cloth: yellow.
