Favorite Stick Look?

I like sneakies, plain Jane/merry widow styles, and traditional 4-point styles w/simple or no inlays. Simple and classic. I do also like butterfly spliced and pointed cues like I've seen from Pat Diveney.

My fav cue of all time was all ebony sumrall cue with flame points love that cue wish I could own

Traditional cues with great point work, neat ring work, and, Hoppe rings. Something like this:

white joint, be it ivory or any material usable and a hoppe style bottom. second favorite would be solid wood sleeve with white delrin. inlays only in sleeve if there have to be any.

I really just love the plain look of a Sneaky Pete however I have always liked the Schon STL-16 and 18

Titlist or Titlist styled cues are my favorite, I have 2 so far, a conversion and an original. Ebony with Titlist colored veneers or Rosewood on the bottom instead of Ebony. A Hoppe ring is good, maybe some nice ring work, if it has inlays I like them to be subtle. I am also a sucker for Ebony and green cues. Every time I see an Ebony cue with green veneers I have to check it out. Jackson cue had one I kept looking at for almost a year, A couple weeks ago I went there cash in hand to buy it and wouldn't you know it, it was sitting on his shipping table waiting to be shipped, someone beat me to it by 2 days.

I like combinations of two or three contrasted woods, a clear one and a dark one (cocobolo and maple for example), black irish linen, just like my actual cue (McDermott M2K5).

I like 4 pointers with nice veneer work, un-notched diamonds and good figure in the wood....Leather wraps too...

I take it your a black boar fan. It would seem the Palmer is not your "style"...but perhaps if it was one of a kind 5k+ dollar cue it'd seem prettier. Its not your style, cool, other cues out there are nicer, shocker, that's not enough reason to insult the man's cue and that style of classic cues.

Was that aimed at me? ...I sure hope I didn't come across as insulting someone's cue or a builders style....just answered the ops question about what I like in a cue

It isn't about price.
