Feather strip jig

Had to replace some feather strips, and was thinking I should have a portable simple way to cut them accurately. I fired up my CNC, carved a 1/4" slot, and then cut across it at 141 and 104 degrees. Made 2 (left and right) and glued them together. Came out pretty nice, next one will have the angles going opposite directions on each piece, and a tiny bit deeper on the slot. The feather strips came out really nice after sanding the sharp edges after cutting.

WANT!!!

I made you one out of ironwood (I think? super hard stuff!), the saw guides are shallow, you'll have to eyeball the down angles.

Could probably make one manually pretty easily with a router and a protractor. CNC is more fun though. A 5th axis would have made it perfect, but that would be a slightly more expensive machine... :D
