Great News!

I really happy to see this place getting some action. This is one of the nicest spot in Texas for sure in central texas. I will do my best to make this event.

Thanks Trigger :)

Gonna be a good one. I have not met Kim yet, but talked to her several times on the phone now. Sounds like a great lady, and I hear she runs a awesome tournament. Got a location for the calcutta setup too so show up a bit early!

Anyone know the results and payouts for the amateur and the open divisions? Including the calcutta payouts?

Lasted past 5 in the morning the first day, going into Sunday. Then Sunday it ended alittle after closing time of 2:00 a.m.

The place is super nice but its tuff to run an event this size there.

Disappointed

Thanks for the results Brent.

My understanding is that you co-own the Tiger Tour.

A couple of questions

1. Is there a chance that the Tiger Tour will make it up to this area?

2. What are your thoughts on running a tournament with 2 divisions that you allow to get to almost 150 players on only 12 tables?

I think it should have been capped at 64, furthermore I'm not crazy about allowing players to play in both divisions. Pick one or the other

Your thoughts

Yes we do the Tiger Tour, and I dont think we will be up that way anytime soon. Some places have asked, but we dont make much $ on the events so travelling dont make much sense. Bt perhaps oneday.

On 2 divisions and that many people, I dont think it would be a problem if the place has like 20 tables, but with less than say 16 tables its alittle to much, but the tourney was great to have that many entrants. Probaly had about 110 players in the 2 tourneys if I had to guess.

Plus we had the big screen for the super bowl, so it was great!!!!
