CANCELLED: February 14th $50 9-Ball G-Cue Billiards-Round Rock, TX

DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS AND NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WITH REGARD TO DATE SELECTION THIS TOURNAMENT IS CANCELLED

Signup starts at 9am and closes at 10:30am Sharp.
Play starts at 11 am.

This is an open 9 ball event.

The entry fee is $50. $5 of which is a green fee, and $5 goes into a separate prize pool for a series of break contest funds, which will be drawn randomly, and the number of people drawn will depend on the number of entries into the tournament. At least 1/2 of the field will have a chance to win their entry fee back via one of the break contests.

Payouts will be based on the number of entries, but will pay as close to 25% of the field as can be managed.

You are welcome to call ahead and get your name 'on the list', however if you show up late (after 11 am) your first match may have been forfeited, and you will be expected to pay the full entry fee. Once a match is called each player has 15 minutes to be at the designated table of play. All draws will be random.

don't mean to steal your thread, but the fast eddies tour is in san antonio that same weekend....might want to talk to lewis about this

Why talk to Lewis?? LOL.

Anyone can have a tournament on the same date. It's the players that will have to choose.

When I started the Waco event, I always co-ordinated with every event that I could. Granted, it is getting tougher, but communication and planning are becoming far more important for a successful event.

I don't care when "society" says Valentines day is. I say it is "always" on Friday!! LOL :shocked:

Wow, Congrats on 25 years, Ray.

I agree, it is going to be tough running it on the same day as Fast Eddies...poor planning on my part.

I will change up the 'second Saturday' scheduling to try to resolve scheduling conflicts in the future. Thanks for the scheduling advice...It really didn't occur to me that there was another tourney that day.

Since SA & Waco are so close to Austin, it would not be a bad idea to try to avoid having a tournament on the same date.

No tournament this Saturday at G Cue. I am glad I talked to Jason. San Antonio, here I come.
