Fed Up with Both UPS & USPS

Anticipation

I'm sitting here now waiting for UPS to deliver my latest cue. By tracking it on-line I'm aware that the delivery date has been rescheduled/delayed twice.

Was shipped 6 days ago (Saturday) from no more than 400 miles away. According to the tracking, it traveled from Nashville to Memphis to Nashville to Memphis to Lenexa KS to Memphis to Kansas City to Lenexa KS. Does not appear to have moved for 36 hours.

No panic yet just aggravation - nothing like opening a new cue package! Have plenty of cues to play with tonight but wanted to play with the NEW one! By the time it arrives the sub 20 temps may have the finish shattered and the shafts wobbly.

Thanks I feel better already...........

The Post Office does a pretty amazing job- Imagine someone handed you 37 cents and says here take this to Alaska and dont bend it- there's photos in there.

About 25 years ago ( Im pretty sure this was true) a guy had most of the house he was building, mailed to some god forsaken area in Alaska that was too rural even for Eskimos- Bricks, lumber, you name it. The PO deleivered it all-cheaper than any alternative. Shortly thereafter they changed the rules just to get out from that kinda craziness.

True,he shipped all the block 1 at a time because they were under the weight limit. He shipped something like 10000 block and the post office had to rent a barge to ship them, costing them atleast 10 times the postage the guy paid. They lost over 100,000 dollars in cost but there was nothing they could do,it was within the rules at the time. The guy had gotten quotes from private company's to do it but they were too much so he figured it out that the post office had no choice if he was within the guide lines.

No problem, just a little grouchy,I got bit by a big black dog today while walking my route while it was 18 degrees out and slipped trying to run from the dog on the ice that the customer didnt shovel because he was too lazy, not a problem:D :D

I think as days go, it'd be safe to put that one in the "It sucked" section!

Thinking about it, after bagging on UPS in my earlier post, they did get our new cellphones to us last Friday when the delivery date wasn't until Monday. Online tracking still showed them sitting at the depot though! I can't complain about that one.
