Detlev Rackow said:I do really like the GTF-cases, however they don't offer them in the configuration I need. So, the way to go is probably custom. I'm still waiting for some leather samples from Ron Thomas...![]()
JB Cases said:Which configuration is that? I believe that GTF and Thomas both offer 1x2 and 2x4 only at this time. All else is a matter of ordering what you want. GTF will accept custom orders and charge accordingly depending on the level of customization required.
Give GTF a call or send them an email and discuss your needs with them (if you have already then please disregard). sales - at - gtf cases - dot - com
Detlev Rackow said:John, we exchanged some PMs concerning my ideas: I need a 2x4 (2x2 would be preferred, but noone builds them) with no pockets, but a long strap. From what I can see on the pages at IndyQ, the 2x4 Replica have the strap and pockets, while the storage cases have no pockets and also no strap. Judging by the prices for the current lines, I expect the price for a customized 2x4 with a strap and no pockets to be a little over my budget. However, if I should not come to terms with Mr Thomas, I will give the mailaddress a try.
Fwiw, it's a little unfortunate that GTF does not yet offer their own website. IndyQ does naturally focus on selling what they have in stock, not on the things GTF might deliver above that.

Detlev
