I'm interested in any info from owners of Sickles cues, or anyone who has played w/one. I'm wondering about the hit ie soft, firm, hard.
Also joint type and overall quality.
I really like the plaine janes more than cues with points & veneers and he had some really nice cues.

Jim,
I am here in Indiana not to far from Jimmy and I can say his cues are top notch. I have seen several as I do cue repair/building also , so I can say they are very well constructed and the playability is well balanced and I would call the hit firm. The craftsmanship is very nice and think you would do well to purchase a cue from Jimmy.
Hope this helps,
Jim

Jim does excellent work, very good person to deal with. Play with one of his cue can't go wrong with it:)

Jim is a great cue maker. He also is a great player. And a great guy. Put those qualities together and it's hard to beat.

Thanks for the replies everyone it is really appreciated. It's great to be able to ask questions & get honest answers you can trust!
I stumbled across another craftsman in my own state (cameron cue).I have an appointment this weekend with Barry to check out a couple of his cues then I'll have to sit down & try to figure out which one of all these awsome p/j I will get. I want them all!! lol

Barry also makes a nice cue and he's one heck of a guy to deal with .. and I speak from first hand knowledge within last month!!!
