I'm looking for 1x2 cases made in the fellini style ..the plain simple kinds without any pouches. Locks or no locks is optional. Any of you guys have an extra 1x2 that you might be wanting to sell?

check out IndyQ. They have been getting ron thomas cases in that might be exactly what you want.

I've been looking at IndyQ and onthehill for quite some time. onthehill is out of stock though. It also appears that IndyQ is having some problems with Engles cases. Anyone own one of those? I see Engle cases on ebay regularly..been wondering if it's worthwhile to get one of those.

Engles cases

Hi Eddie,

I have an Engles case. They're actually a nice case that you'd have a tough time telling apart from a Fellini, except for the fact that they are made out of a butyrate plastic (the shell underneath the leather) instead of PVC like Fellini and Centennials. The butyrate has a little odor to it. You might have caught a whiff of this plastic on cheap tool handles or on plastic screws. It seems to dissipate a little over time, but is still noticeable. I have the embossed leather covering and I wanted to buy one of the exotic (python) models, so I asked the guy I bought it from if the higher end ones had the butyrate shell smell. He never called me back, so I assume the answer was "yes". The other difference is that they have a latch like George cases instead of the Fellini type. All in all, not a bad case, though.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Eddie,

Drop me an email, I have some old It's George cases that are made in the Fellini style. Missing the locks on them and the logo, but unused and excellent for storage. Cheap too.

Eddie,
I have three 1*2 Fellini style cases. They are very close to Fellinis, I am not sure of the make and they are older cases. A crushed burgandy, a black and a brown. We also have a few Engles cases. They are nice. Ron Thomas makes a good case, cueaddicts might have a few.
