Felt Too Fast? Watch Video

I'm having a hard time controlling my leaves. My table is like shooting on glass. I posted a thread 860 vs 760 cloth. I believe my table has carom cloth and it is super fast as you can see in the video. I play on a 10 footer so I am not sure as to what cloth is the best for me. I play a lot of 14.1 so I don't want to spend $300 on cloth and find out it's too slow. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Just a little fast...
After watching this video I took a second look at your 125 video.
I didn't notice the speed the first time I saw it, but it is there for sure.

I kinda think you have the perfect practice table. It is big, a good thing. and it is super fast. If a person can get a handle on this monster, well, I don't think they are going to get worse to say the least.

I think the big table needs speed, maybe not so much as you have there.
The perfect cloth might be 760 for the high run.

I would have a tough time changing anything if it were mine.
It is easy to adjust to a slower table.

thx for the videos and good luck.

I have the Gorina M cloth it's a 17oz cloth. I wonder if it is faster than the 760? If 760 is just a tad slower than maybe that is the cloth I need.

Very nice table & room to play in. Congrats on all that!.... I have had 860 on my 9' table for many years and I am dedicated to it. One time I had put 760 on my table b/c I wanted it to play faster and it did. It played like your table. I got use to it after awhile and was playing very well at home. The problem was when I went to my league night and all the tables had slower cloth. I was hitting balls and not even reaching the pocket with the object ball b/c I was hitting everything so softly. I changed my table back to 860 plus just about every room now has 860 on their tables. So the transition to playing on another table is easy. Now you have a 10' table, you might want to put 860 on your table and compare the two.... Yes, the money is a big deal but then you will know what is best for you and your table. Good Luck.

yes that is very fast. 860 would play slower and offer better control. We must remember that our cues are generally 18 - 20 ozs. If you have a super fast cloth the mass (cue weight) needs to be less and vice vesa. It a little like trying to drive a finishing nail into to wood with an 8# sledge hammer. It will get the job done but you will never feel the nail.
