felt treatment question

I just had my table covered with championship tour edition cloth a friend told me if I treated it with scotch guard it would make the cloth last longer what your opion

I don't think it will make it last longer. Mostly it will keep any spill from soaking into the cloth. Instead, it will help them bead up on top of the cloth. Will probably still last about the same though.

If you want my honest opinion...always keep food and drinks away from the pool table!

Personally, I don't even care for the factory cloth that is bathed in Telfon and never recommend the spray-on. If you want the tour edition cloth that has teflon the brunswick cloth is what your looking for. Its actually the tour edition that is bathed in telfon.
