People say shafts hit differently when a different tip/ferrule is put on. I was wondering if a new ferrule with tip on a new 314 will change the way it hits in terms of deflection. Will there be two different compensations for deflection from the regular 314 and the modified 314?

Yes, hit much better with Aegis ferrule, but i did not install a tenon, just make a ferrule like Predator original ferrule , some cuemaker would installed a tenon and threaded capped ferrule, that will defeat the purpose of 314 hit and deflaction on Predator shaft, why buy a Predator shaft if you are going to do all that...
