The last few weeks, I've been hearing a buzzing sound coming from my Z2 shaft on almost every shot. I was going to send it back to Predator, until I found out what the cause was.

I was cleaning the shaft today, and noticed a small gap at the bottom of the ferrule. I was able to pull the ferrule completely off.

It's not threaded, so I assume I can just put some glue in there, slide it back on and be good to go after it drys. THe problem is that I have no idea what kind of glue would work best, or where to get some.

Please help.

I'd strongly suggest that you send it in for repair rather than DIY.
This is a warranty issue and it will be covered.
Attempting a repair yourself could very well cost you that warranty.

I can do that work for you with Predator parts if you want to send it to me.

If you still are wanting to do the work yourself T88 epoxy will do the trick.

As stated you will risk the loss of your Predator warranty doing the work yourself.
If that is not a issue

I would take it to a local repair person or ship it to predator. I'm no expert, but i would not use gorilla glue. It expands as it dries and has air bubbles from what i've seen. It seems to turn into a really dense foam as opposed to a more solid hardened stage of some epoxies. Like I said, I haven't used the stuff much, but when I have used it, I really didn't care for it.

Gorilla glue makes a regular wood glue just like tite bond ect. The glue you are speaking of is a polyurethane glue that expands. JS

Thanks for the correction, that makes much more sense!

Best of luck with the predator
