Actually.....the latest trend I saw was moving toward Winn grips and no glove for ameatures...

Also...I was not around in the 1870's...but I doub't they had cord grips back then...If you are using a cord grip with no glove today....you got man hands.... :D :D

Lastly...I am not trying to defend DM here...He does not need my help.....but...with his back ground in golf equipment....and some of the things I've seen and heard.......I am willing to bet he has done more experimentation with the pool cues and knows more about types of set ups than many actual cue makers.......(Just to let you know what your getting yourself into).... :D :D
