Can anyone tell me who Invented the Ivor-x Ferrule you see some cuemakers using today ??? Also how long have they been Available ???
I recently bought a new cue that uses these Ferrules and I can't believe
how much different they play than everything else I have used in the past
and I have used everything on the market that I know of.

Thanks

How do these ferrules compare to Ivory?
Is there any ferrule material that stays as clean and scratchfree as Ivory that you may have used or have experience with.
Others can chime in on this as well.
Thanks for any help and/or opinions on this subject.

buffalo horn

Buffalo horn is a great ferrule if you can adjust to playing with a black ferrule. there are so many different ferrule types out there it is really becoming a science to put together a the type of ferrule, tip, and taper to get the hit you are looking for now, my opinion.

Speedy,

Have you tried these Ivor-x Ferrules yet ??? I have tried Buffalo Horn and there is a big Difference between them....Don't doubt until you try
I always say.

The Ivor-x ferrules are good but I think Tiger products "Saber-T" ferrules might have them beat. Better feel to me.

Tiger does not sell ferrules from what I've heard. They sell 1" pieces of the material for $3.00 that you have to make into a ferrule yourself. And in order for this material to work properly, it should be threaded AND glued. Z.
