Ferrules

So out of curiosity, what does a raw buckhorn, antler, or ivory ferrule cost ? Just the raw part like a cuemaker or repair person would buy.

It will be how its bought. I buy moose antler --- I buy the whole antler. Bought elk & deer & buffalo - good portion of the whole antler. Ivory - by the tusk. After that I have to cut and dice it before it can be ferrule or inlay material. Prices vary - because sources and quantity vary and how much work and time the cuemaker wants to spend finding sources and not using "ready made" components.
