Filipino Bridge

Someone mentioned to me that they thought they had seen a thread on here that stated if the "Filipino Bridge" is used over a long period of time, it could cause the middle finger to become deformed. I have searched the forums for this thread and could not find it, the person who told me about this has been unable to locate it also. Is there a thread? If not any thoughts?

I started using it a couple days ago for force draw shots. Still tweaking it a little bit but my accuracy has improved. It did take a little while for my fingers to get used to it, but now it's fine. I don't see any permanent damage coming from it. But if your fingers aren't flexible, I wouldn't try to force it.

Oh, come on now... are you serious? You really want valuable input as to the longterm side effects of various closed bridges?

I'm going to go for a beer right now, and hope this thread ends by the time I finish it.

I think he might play guitar so that could be his concern.

I've been using it for five years and no problem. My middle finger bends backward quite a bit. Sigel has been using it for years and he's in his mid 50s.
