Finally found "the one"

I recently bought an Ariel Carmeli cue. I bought a Tiger Ultra X LD, immediately replaced the Sniper tip with a Kamui Clear Tan Med and this combination is the nuts. I know everything is subjective to each individual player but this combo just feels better to me than any other combination I have tried and I have probably tried 50+ cue/shaft/tip combinations. Think I will quit searching now

How does the shaft that came with the Carmeli play? I'm glad your search is over. It gets expensive.

Not sure. I am so used to the aftermarket low deflection shafts that I can't imagine going back to a standard shaft. Besides I don't want to spend $25 to have a Kamui tip installed just to see how it hits

Congrats on the Carmeli.
Of the Kamui tips I definitely prefer the brown over the black any day.
Also with amazing feel are the Wizard medium tips.
Definitely worth a try next time you experiment.
