Finally played some 3C...

Well this past Saturday I got to play on a real 5'x10' heated table. It sure does make a difference! A few of us got together and played some races to 10... and I started off with a run of 3! Not bad for a guy who's only played once before on a smaller, slower table!

Of course, it went downhill from there! :p

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to playing a bit more and learning some more about the game.

Deno, we'll have to play some the next time we see each other! :p
 
Glad to see that you experienced true billiards. Let me know if you are ever in Chicago...and congratulations on the 3.

The current plan is to have three carom tables in the Drinkwater Room (next to the restaurant) for the 2007 DCC.
 
That's great news! When I got there this year, the 3C (qualifiers?) were just wrapping up and I wasn't able to go watch anything.

If I'm able to make it next year, I might even be able to try my hand at it again! :p
