Finally! Some luck!

I was Talking with my son's football coach today, And turns out he is giving away a pool table if I just come and get it. Well the first I think is, old sears fiberboard playing surface or one of the old honeycomb tables. Turns out when I walk in his garage to find out it is a Golden west 4x8 slate table that had just been recovered. The table looks like new! I know it's not a gold crown or diamond, but pretty damn good for the basement and it does play good! Best of all.......it was free.
