Finally, we got a pool hall in Kingman!

Rude Dog

<---Dumb and Dumber
I stopped by there today to check it out, should be open in a couple of weeks. It's called Red Barn Pool Hall. Looks like 8' tables, not sure what kind, nothing fancy. The best part about it, it's right behind my house, I can walk there...........................but that won't happen. :D So, if anyone ever gets lost in the middle of the desert and it's nothing but you and your cue, stop on in and play a few games. I promise I won't charge you..................much. Peace.

Having a pool hall at home is the ultimate.Having one across the street is the next best thing. Go easy on your neighbours Rude Dog. RJ

It better have a heater cuz this dog don't like the cold.

That's awesome John, at least you can have a few wobbly pops and not worry about how to get home safely, the eight footers aren't so bad and it's probably only a matter of time before they bring in some nine footers.

DaveK, it's friggin cold here we've been hovering around the -25 mark, FYI me and Dave are talking celsius not farenheit. Are you watching the big hockey game tonight? I hope we kill the Russians!

That's about it, a 6-1 wuppin' :)

I've gotta see that $110M hockey arena in Grand Forks ... 10,000 leather seats with with marble foyers ! WOW !

Well? Anyone coming to play?

It's a pretty well known fact that I don't get to travel outside of Arizona w/o permission, so, who's coming here to play me? I don't have the luxury of just packing a bag and my cue to go where I want to play so I'm on here everyday to see what's going on in the pool world. Now that there's a poolhall here I'm ready for you road players to come in and try me. Now I'm not saying that you'll get to bet the moon or anything like that but you will get enough action to make the trip worth it. If you win! 9 ball or 10 ball are the games I play and occasionally 1 pocket. So, c'mon players, get your asses out here to the desert and play ole Rude Dog, the Lord knows I need some real players to get my game back, if it's even still possible. So, I'm bumping this thread to the top everyday til someone shows up. Peace, John.

Rude Dog, may you know nothing but good times in your new poolhall. Guess I'm spoiled living in NYC and having so many choices of where to play, but I know how big a deal it is to have at least one nice room to play in.

By the way, a worthy adversary for your bowling/pool challenge would be Jean Balukas, who carried a 200 bowling average for a while, and who still can play some great nine ball. Wonder if she'll take the bait..........

John,
I go through Kingman from Montana to Phoenix and back - (6 times in the last year). I stop over in St. George and Vegas. If you are still playing in your new room, I will stop if you want to play an old maddog - wackie jackie madden. Nice to see Arizona getting another room. Phoenix is finally getting more - put one in about 6 blocks from where I lived in Phoenix - then I moved - lousy timing - only had 3-4 when I played all the time in the 60's and 70's. By the way, these guys asked you if it had a heater. More important question, does it have a/c? I can do without the heater but really don't want to sweat to death in the desert in the summer. And if either visit you, they will find out the desert does get chilly in the winter but it is probably a balmy 60 or so once the Vegas snow melts. Enjoy your new pool room.

Jeez, they better have an a/c if they want any business in the summer. As far as the heater goes, if they don't have one, it wouldn't be so bad inside a big building such as it is. When I play at my friends house in his garage it's tough to stay warm because of the wind coming underneath the garage door. Anyway, hope to see ya stop by John on one of your trips through here. Take care, John.
