Got a G. Szam after all these years. I bought it from a guy I have seen around for years-but never really knew. I was in Best Billiards back in about 91 one day and was looking at this exact cue and was thinking of buying it then but $$$ was tight. He walked in and hit a few balls with it and bought it, it was built in the earily to mid 80's but it was almost new in 91 when he bought it. I was close to pulling the trigger but didnt. GRRRR

About a week later I saw in him Hollywood Althletic Club playing with it and congradulated him for buying it, wishing i would have pulled the trigger.

Over the years I have seen him around and asked him once if he wanted to sell it, he wasnt interested. I went into the pool room the other night and sure enough he was there with the cue I have been watching for years, we started talking and a week later he sold it to me, I couldnt believe it, he had th origonal shafts at home and Ernie G. build playing shafts, they are perfect not a ding on them, smooth as glass, orginal wrap-it looks it. And WOW hao it hits, I'm comming out of retirement slowly so i'm not playing great but I picked up that cue and all of a sudden BAM my game jumped alot.

Took a lot of years to get a Szam and it will be my playing cue, it has 3 lamenents and 2 rings nothing fancy.

glad somebody said something ;) i waited until i was forever for one of those, i can mark it iff the things to do before i die list, every player should have one at some point, or at at the least play with one to understand, thatcue hits the balls like it did in 91 and he played daily with it since then.

i will take some cel phone pics with my phone, and send them to someone who will be kind enough to post them i dont know how to post pics, everytime i try it never seems to work, it plays amazing, i followed that cue for years. no inlays but nice lamenents that are perfect all the same length.
