haha actually you do get a garlic taste but not a strong one and the smell isn't strong like if you had been eating garlic....
The one part of the article you should pay close attention to is that they demo'd it in front of a congressional panel and in an hour it removed the swelling from a sprained ankle.... from an anti-inflammation standpoint there is nothing on the market even close to it's level of performance...
My dad was in a car wreck in 1978 and ended up with a crushed ankle out of the deal... Several doctors have told him they have no idea how he has managed to keep from losing it several times... His answer to them is DMSO...
A roll on at the COOP runs under $20 bucks... If it works you can't beat it and if it doesn't you aren't out much....
2 rules of thumb... DMSO can carry other things into the bloodstream so make sure everything is clean clean clean and rinse quickly after application and reapply several times if needed.. If you leave it on for too long you can cause the skin to get aggravated....
I tore a meniscus in my left knee several years ago and it swelled up like a balloon.... I got the swelling down using DMSO.... I would apply a coat let it sit for 2 minutes rinse and allow to dry and repeat 4 times... My GF was brand new when it happened and looked at me like a crazy person when I sent her to the coop... In the course of an evening I went from balloon to almost normal... OF course it still took a brace and crutches for a few weeks before I could risk walking on it.....
