Finish the sentence: Aramith Black set is the worst thing to happen to pool since...

Ortmann, Parica and Reyes.
Seems like Americans have been having a tough time since the international invasion.

...elephant balls.
I really did shoot with those for a while. I mentioned to someone that I had trouble seeing the contact point on the 8-ball because it was black. He suggested elephant balls. I bought them and played with them for a good while. They kinda helped forgetting 90% of my issue was stroke and patterns. But what didn’t help was showing up at leagues and using normal balls. Opened my eyes to realizing I didn’t need a crutch, I needed to improve.

I used them one time and literally didn't even finish the game. I hated them that much.

Since ESPN 2 stopped showing pool and switched to being just a talking head channel.

There’s a reason they had to drag out the corpse of Johnny Archer for that PCL stunt - he still has more name recognition than SVB among the “non-pool playing but will watch it at the gym while walking on the treadmill crowd”.

Jeannette Lee was featured on a 30 for 30 in part from the name recognition of 90’s era pool on TV.

Next worst thing of the pool market  (psst! Don't show this image to any of Matchroom staff members, for lord's sake!)
