You should always list the address on a tourny posting. Preferably also list the town and state in the thread title too.

Good luck on this tourny, I hope the tour is a big success.

go figure

You always forget the important stuff :)

Dancing Queen

Saturday they played Dancing Queen instead of Wilson Philips. It was a nice changeup.

Results

Do you have the final results from the benefit tournament?

Sorry folks, as I didnt run that event, I dont know all the results. I ended up leaving in my usual bad mood after being defeated by complete LUCK ofcourse :) Just kidding Barnshaw.

I do know that Saez won the event and Kyle "Chilly" Dilly got Second.

It was a really nice turnout. I think we got 42 players. That means that 420+ dollars was donated to a local soldier who came back from Afganistan partially paralyzed in his upper extremities and completeley paralyzed in his lower extremities. His family was raising money for Handicap fictures on there home. I was proud to be a part of this cause.

.... But Barnshaw still has the 8 :)

1st. Rob Saez

3rd. Jason Kochenour
4th. Pete Calabrese
5th. John Barnshaw

Not sure about the rest. I also talked to Donny and he said they raised over 3k.

Thanks

Thanks for the update Jason

I will be posting the Points Rules shortly folks...so keep checking this post for updates.

Is it get lucky and ride the nine to make it in any pocket at any time?

Is there a 3 foul rule?

I don't like the 3 foul rule and I like to get lucky and hit them hard instead of playing safe.

Sorry...the three foul rule will be in effect, but after the break (bottom two pockets dont count since its rack your own), you can get lucky if you RIDE THE 9. :)

Two week notice

The kickoff event for the Finley's Cup is a bit more than two weeks away folks. Dont miss out!!! and remember, this is AMATEUR ONLY. Come support your local event. I have made every effort to make sure it does not interfere with any regional tours and Finley's is gearing up for a big turnout. Only think left is for YOU to come play. Im talking to you Kyle Dilly, and Jason Kochenour. Ken Hess and the Harrisburg crew. Lancaster boys and girls...Hanover guys, Joe Stem, Neil Brown, Mouse......come represent your area in the centrally located Finley's tavern where you can play the best Amateur players from all areas...Baltimore included.

Rumor has it that....John "this is MY bar" Devenny may actually make an appearance. SHHHHHHHHH

Payouts

What are the payouts for this tournament? expected amount of players?

Also, is this the Finleys, with Chris, aka my favorite barmaid ever.

More info

Yes, Chris will be working the bar. I hear she Loves pool tournament days.

Payouts are always tough. It is, of course, based on number of entrants. The bar takes NOTHING. I am taking 5 dollars of the entry fee to be held back for added money to the Final Tournament. So $25 will go towards the payouts.

I will pay 25% of the field and we will have a Calcutta so based on my experience with these events. I would estimate the payouts to be as follows based on 32 entrants:

1st 300 + Calcutta
2nd 175 + Calcutta
3rd 100 + Calcutta
4th 75 + Calcutta
5th 50
6th 50
7th 25
8th 25

Those who attend my tournament know that my goal is NOT to use up your entire day unless you are getting some money. So I strive to have you out of the building by 6ish (if you chose)...those staying later are usually in the MONEY or waiting on their horse.

Don't disrespect the Harrisburg crew by putting Kyles name in there. He's York! :rotflmao1:
