hey randy i saw in one of your earlier posts in this thread about aiming systems you use cte and something else, so i was wondering if the aiming systems you teach now have changed much from the sam i learned back in 06?

I still teach SAM. I can teach about 12 aiming systems.

I use CTE and Offset aiming as my main systems.

How have you been?

What can I say, you just ran out.

If you were working with me the first thing we would talk about is the SET position.

"After all your warm ups are completed, bring your cue stick to a complete stop at the cue ball (about 1-2 seconds). Now bring your eyes up to the target (focus) and start your back stroke."

Now only if I could run out everything. Lol. Thanks Randy, ill try that out and see how it works, it'll sure slow me down and cause me to focus more. Thanks.

Randy, not a question but an idea you may want to consider. While working on your new style of one and three speed stop shots I no longer use balls as the markers. I go to my box of pennies.

It keeps the table from being as cluttered and if shooting well, rewarded with a neat pile of pennies. I still use a strip as the object ball to see the tire roll down the table with a perfect hit.

Thanks for a great weekend but you left that damn Texas heat here.

I know it's hot up in your area, sorry about that.

I like the idea that you are doing your homework. Pennies sound like a great idea. Keep up the great work.
