First attempt at photography

This is the first time I've actually taken pics and played around with my photo editor for the purpose of posting pics on the web. I have a very old monitor that tends to show everything dark, so to appear clear in my monitor, I had to lighten things up. These pics might show up to bright for others. Some of the best b.e.m. I've ever come across. Hope it shows up well.

Are you sure it's BEM, and not curly or tiger maple.
 
Actually, I've always thought the proper term would be fiddleback, or quilt as the terms I've always used with my guitars. I was under the impression that everybody in the cue world mistakenly labeled everything birdseye.
So yes, I consider it curly, fiddleback, or quilted. But those are descriptions that I haven't heard often when describing cues.

Birdseye maple and curly maple are terms often used when describing the wood of the cue..
