Hello!

Im having my first custom butt made up to mimic my playing cue.
MJ_205.jpg

When I originally bought it, I wanted it to be a dark cue but it was available and priced within my budget.

I am having an ebony cue made up, double red veneers and 'white' points. I am undecided on what material I want to get to be the 'white' ivory, elforen or holly. I am not a rich guy by any means, so I think Ivory will be too expensive for my first cue. If I want the white to really pop, should I go for the upgrade to elforen?

Ideally I would want it to be a tuxedo looking cue, its going to have a white lizard wrap and the butt section will mimic the points in the top. White joint and butt cap.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your input,

If you want white inlays but don't want a plastic material I suggest the Bleached Camel Bone. It is fairly reasonable in price and will be the Ivory color you are looking for. Many call it bone ivory. Camel bone will work for your inlays or points, but not for joint or butt plate.
