Gratz! After you spend more fun time with straight pool practice and go back 8- and 9-ball you will notice how straight pool will back up those games also...

Also playing against good(not too good) players is educational because they can put you on chair for some time.. And you will use that time for learning focus your next chance. Normally you get shot after opponent miss because you can choose object ball.
Straight Pool matches will make your mental game a lot stronger.
