First time Rotation today!

While at D&D Billiards today I met up with a new friend named Gel from the Philippines, and He showed me how to play Rotation. I had no idea of the rules or how to rack, but after an hour or so I picked up why the guys from the Philippines play so well. This game makes you THINK, play shots you never would think of, and the further into the rack, the more important NOT to miss as I learned!:)

Gel has one of the strongest strokes I have seen because he's a 3 cushion billiards player. He was nice and very patient while teaching me. I was able to run 2 racks out which seemed like a HUGE accomplishment given the complexities of the game.

Gel told me some stories about watching Bustamante, Efren, Parica over the years in Manila and the spots they gave out, and gave each other.

If you all never had the chance to play the game....DO IT, 9ball will seem simple after Rotation. This game will be part of my practice session for 9ball.

I hear you Gerry! I grew up playing and watching Rotation. You will be surprise
if I tell you that the gap between a shortstop and an A player magnifies in
this game!

You probably heard of stories about Effie giving 40-80 or sometimes even 30-
90 to 2nd tier pool players in the Philippines. Your CB control will definitely
get better, your safety plays will improve by leaps and bounds, and your
table management (when to dog a shot or when to go for it) will be
automatic.

A great game to iplay if you want to improve your overall skills...
