BTW, my cupcake, Doc, has a boat-load of crying towels from his many losing ventures. We need to get him on the action as well.

I think Doc will give us the blue through and all the breaks. He's such a giving player. He's like the energizer bunny, he just keeps giving and giving and giving and giving....:eek:
 
I may try to make the long journey there... if I can convince my fiancee to come along. I'd have to take her to dinner around there first or something to bribe her though. It'll probably be about 50/50 proposition that I'll be there.

Just wanted to give you a little insight into your 50/50 proposition comment. During the engagement period, you might always have 50/50 propositions. But once you say "I do", the proposation ratio changes from 50/50 to 0/100-----guess which side of the proposition will be yours.....:D

Well, 50/50 turned into 0/100 so I didn't make it out last night. Can I assume that one of you AZers snapped it off? :p
 
Tommy Smith won

Hey Samiel - 0/100....hmmmm....it's all good.

I think there were 16 players and this azber went two and out. Even though it was only 16 players, it was a tough field. I still love the competition though. Strong play by Chen (as usual), Gordy, Barry Emerson, Anthony, Tommy Smith, McKinney Miner, oh and Doc, (my little cupcake).

I played Anthony first and lost 1-7 (ouch), then I drew Barry Emerson (double ouch) and I lost 0-6. I did some good note-taking and considered it $20 lessons so I was happy and will keep on playing and forging ahead.

I think Tommy Smith (who beat Barry, Anthony, Gordy, to name a few) ended up winning the tournament by double-dipping Chen.

Some awesome shooting by everybody. Good times :)
 
I think the results were:

1st - Tommy Smith
2nd - Chen
3rd - Barry Emerson
4th - Some guy named Dinklebrot

I lost on the hill to both Chen and Barry.

Well I didn't get a chance to make it last night, even though I was ready to "collect". Glad to hear that Doc has some spare crying towels, I know you'll need one when we rumble in league.
