Fish eyes.

I had those.
Thought the guy didn't use enough glue so had gaps between the handle and forearm..
I used thin superglue, as it just runs down into the gap, let it dry and repeat till the gap is filled..

Alton < Not a Cuemaker..I used superglue.. ;)

That's what I do in some situations too Alton. I do that process, before I seal with epoxy. I have even done That before the final turns were taken on a cue, and It worked for me. if they are just simple surface imperfections then It usually blends perfectly. If more then that Then blending depends on how severe it is. Some gaps blend better then others, as many things play a role in that, such as size and location of them, as well as color of materials, and the contrast between them.

Dan; If you are spraying your finish you will have to learn to FLOOD the area with the clear (without creating runs). Your 1st pass will seal the hole left by the lack of glue. ...JER

Winner winner chicken dinner. After talking to an autobody buddy of mine Saturday I came to the conclusion that I had regressed a bit in my spraying technique. I do not like the fact that this blank has some voids even though I tried everything I could think of to fill them prior to final pass, but as Jerry states my finish should have at least covered the voids instead of pool around them.

Yesterday rather than fart around anymore trying to fill the voids with every type of adhesive in my cabinet including my finish clear itself, I decided to spray. I increased my air pressure and decreased my flash time between coats. My finish flowed right over the problem, I was done in 20 minutes instead of 30, and the cue looks like glass. The edge of the point is bit intermittent if you look closely. That's what I get for using a blank instead of cutting my own and I'll price it accordingly. Not much to price since I'm planning on hitting this one myself for a while. I'll post some pics after I finish the clear.

Thanks for all the help folks.
