OK, OK--you got me! I am now thinking that you may be referring to another world champion who has broken his cue on some noteworthy occasions. If we look at his record, though, he is clearly capable of putting negative performances behind him. If we're talking about the same player, the one who broke his cue playing against a young John Schmidt, look at his performance against Nick Varner in his very next match!
 
Considerations

The women players probably feel the same way playing Allison, as anyone does playing Efren, so some jumpiness is completely understandable.

I can certainly understand how some players might be bothered after getting down on a shot, and the cameraman is at the top of your vision filming you.
