These lines measure out at 0.017". Is that too small for a wrap? Also how do you determine if it is linen, Dacron, silk or nylon?

Burn test: Linen will burn like the wick of a candle, char and ash, and does not melt. Its plant fiber. Silk is a protein and will melt just before burning with a putrid odor of burnt hair, feathers, meat. Plastics will melt first, and have a burns plastic smell. As for which plastic? That is tough, hope the other tests prove its not a plastic.
