I go to a few estate sale and yard sales when I have time. Could some of the cue makers on here let me know what to look for and buy in old fishing line.

Heck No.....Any Cortland Linen

Cortland stopped being made long ago but you still can get #9....it's still around......around $80 per 50 yd roll.....but Cortland #12....forget about it. It's out there and I even offered $200 on AZ for 50 yds of Cortland #12 and was contacted by people that had some but none were willing to part with any......IMO.....#12 (white with black speck) is the hardest to find.......I have a Wanted thread running right now looking once again for some Cortland Linen #12.......and of course, as you might imagine, no luck so far.

Look for any Cuttyhunk Irish Linen.....Good Luck.
