Fith cue

Close ups of the ironicly enough 5 veneer fith cue! I added these pictures to the 1st thread.

There were only about 12 cues done with the turquoise inlays. I am pretty sure this was the only one with the delrin butt cap! It was my player for a bit!
I still only play with my 8 point Cochran. But I have to say it is fun to get back some old personal playing cues. Especially this monster! Back then I sold cues out of necessity then I would pick up another Scruggs and moved on. It is nice to be able to buy back the hard times.

Veneers

I have to admit never noticing the 5 veneers when I played with this cue. Sure enough the veneers are cream, black,double cream and outside black.
The gold stained forearm almost makes the cream veneers look as if theywould glow in the dark!
The birdseye is inncredably featured by the staining. The ivory stitching and the ebony and turquoise inlay work give this cue the look of fine jewelry. The cue's design is so balanced reflecting old school and new shcool cues at the same time.
