I don't know whether this should be here or in the "ask the cue maker" section, but I would guess most cue makers read the main forums at least some.
I am looking at purchasing a broken cue, it is cracked in the forearm of the butt, and the pin is bent. I know this is somewhat vague, and if I can get pictures I will post them. But I was just wondering what the difficulty and cost might be to fix the cracking in the forearm. I know repinning, or replacing the joint would be possible, but I am more worried about the cracking.
Any help would be great. It is a nice older cue, though not worth a ton of money, so if it would be cost-efficient to get it fixed then I am considering buying it.
