Fixing or hiding nicks in forearm and butt of cue

Any suggestion on how to fix or hide nicks in forearm and butt finish areas of cues.

If you are wanting to do it yourself... a simple quick fix is to match the color of the wood with a crayola water color marker "if the clear is chipped away" dot the marker gently to the surface until desired shade is achieved then apply a drop or two of sanding sealer with a toothpick, then dab away the excess, that will hide the contrast and is temporary cover-up !

My suggestion is to have the cue refinished and that will remove any knicks or dings your cue has sustained...

Some refer to the dings as "battlescars" and should be displayed proudly !!!

I on the otherhand think it's an eyesore and should be corrected.... but once again I'm a cuesmith so I automatically think that way... "if I see something broke I want to fix it" !

A refinish job is typically starts at around 75.00 but can go up a few bucks if there is other repairs needed to be addressed before preparing the wood for clearcoat....
