I bought this cue today - can anyone help with info on identity or worth?
about the cue from butt to tip:

End of cue is slightly convex with a small hole. SIde of butt is flattened with old style numbers 22 (ouncesI'm guessin) stamped into a flattened area. no evidence of a decal. Wrap was green and white, still tight but dirty. joint seems to be ivory. Shaft has beautiful butterfly inlays. Ferrule seems to be ivory. Cue is straight and seems like it would play fine, but no tip.

Looks like a Brunswick

I don't know much about these old vintage cues, but there is a market for them. Value will depend on how straight the cue is and if there are any issues (cracks, dents, finish worn out etc..). I'm sure your PM box is getting some messages with some offers.

It may just be me, but the shaft looks like it came off of a Brunswick 360 and if authenticated would be a great find and I think it would be worth decent money assuming everything posted in Sanjay's post is good. I think someone had just the butt end several months ago. It would be nice to see it match back up with the butt end it belongs to. It would need more research to authenticate than my limited knowledge.
 
wild guess, but id say the shaft was possibly a butt at one time, the bottom "joint" butterflys are not full spliced and the veneer colors don't match anything from that era, when the front veneer do. Cuemaker probably trying to make a 360 lookalike possibly. Maybe it was always a shaft, but i definitely think the bottom veneer were added

I agree and Dick Abbott and or Drexler was looking for one of these shafts...
