I've got a spot that a friend and I are looking at to possibly put a few tables in. The problem that I see is the floor has stone tiles that were installed for decoration more than function. Can someone recommend a pad or platform to use to help level the tables and keep them from possibly sliding when someone leans on them. I'd rather not tear up the tiles. Thanks.

Use rubber shims, check out www.poolndarts.com
There 3inch round black shims, I've been using them for years, they work great for this.
