diamonds are heavy so it don't matter much on what floor covering u use...just don't use thick carpet padding...I like tables to sit on concrete."very stable".

p.s send member > realkingcobra a message---he will probably be the one delivering the table if ur buying new, he knows all the ins and outs on the diamonds..

Concrete is best. Paint the concrete. Then put area rugs around the table to ease the strain on feet, knees, etc. Also, area rugs can be easily taken up and cleaned, or thrown away and easily replaced. Inexpensive 'oriental' rugs look fantastic.

The ProAm has such a wide bulldog leg stance that it really don't matter what it's sitting on, it's going to be stable on anything, I'd be more concerned as to what YOU are standing on:grin: to make you as comfortable as possible with the MANY hours of walking around the table as you're going to be doing playing on your new table:grin:

cocncrete wood be great but this is a 2nd floor install, so what im thinking of is adding a piece of subfloor just big enough for the legs to sit on and painting it, then going with laminate around it and my bar. so what do you guys think? thanks for all the help so far.
