Lots of 8-7 and 8-6 finishes, tough competition! I know the smell of the money has to be fueling these guys even more then normal.

Darren said pressure is huge, he was 7:5 down in his last match and he had never shook so much on his last run out. Hahn said he's learnt so much in this comp, he started out playing with snooker cue and playing bad, hes now breaking better and using pool cue

craig, what is the story on hann. I hear he is a pretty controversial character and that he seems to get in trouble alot. Is that true?

Yeah he's a typical Aussie lol, he's porbably the Earl of Snooker, or was until he got banned for match fixing, found guilty because he didn't bother going back to the UK for the hearing lol

Orcullo now has two wins after beating Ralph Soquet 8-4.Orcullo has 6 break and runs in the process. He also had 4 break and runs in his previous match.Orcullo is extremley hot right now and will be tough to beat.

Last night I talked with Alex and he said in his final match against Dennis which was a must-win for Alex, they were tied at 5, then Dennis ran out for a 6-5 lead. Alex said at that point and the way hes been playing he thought he was done. But Dennis came up dry on the break, and Alex played a safe. Dennis fouled, and Alex played safe again. He 3 fouled him and tied the score at 6-6. Then Alex broke an ran the next two for the win.....talk about pressure!!
But, I have a feeling that Dennis is the one to beat right now!! I think only Efren could stop his rampage right now and at this stage.
Darren takes the match 8-5!!!
Really impressive display, if he can get his break working, he will be a force.
